LG refrigerators use several LT-series cartridges. The LG name or a similar white cartridge is not enough to choose between them.
Match the complete LT-series number on the existing filter and compare the connector. Different LT-series families are not substitutes.

Check chip requirements: refrigerators specified for XWFE or RPWFE use electronic filter identification. An XWF does not replace an XWFE, and an RPWF does not replace an RPWFE.

Keep the engineering digits at the end of the refrigerator model. Versions of the same retail model can call for different filters. These families are not interchangeable.

Confirm any alternative reference in the manual for your exact model. Similar-looking cartridges are not a reliable match.

Refrigerator layouts help you describe your appliance. The correct cartridge still depends on the full model number and the filter system fitted to it.
Two refrigerator doors sit above the freezer. Models may have internal or door-mounted water dispensers; the filter location varies by appliance.
Two tall compartments place the freezer beside the refrigerator. A dispenser on the door does not identify the cartridge; read the old filter and appliance model.
Here, this means a single upper refrigerator door and a lower freezer. Ice-making and internal filtration vary by model, so confirm whether a replaceable water filter is fitted.
A door layout does not prove filter compatibility. Some refrigerators have no replaceable internal water filter, even when they make ice. Check your appliance manual for the filter type and location.
